Vineyards
The territory of Ozzano Monferrato is located within a geologically complex area, called Monferrato Casalese, which has marine sedimentary origins dating back to the time span between the Pliocene, Miocene and Oligocene.
The soils are characterized by a rather high limestone content which gives a more tonic and slender character to the Barbera, while enhancing the spicy nuances of Grignolino.
